EU working-time compliance
TimeTrack Pro supports compliance with the EU Working Time Directive (Directive 2003/88/EC) and the May 2019 ruling of the Court of Justice of the European Union in case CCOO v. Deutsche Bank (C-55/18), which requires employers in the EU to set up an "objective, reliable and accessible" system to record daily working time.
TimeTrack Pro does not provide legal advice or a guarantee of compliance — it provides the records and controls employers need to demonstrate compliance under their applicable national rules.
What we record
- Start, end, and total worked time per employee per day.
- Break starts and ends, with totals.
- GPS coordinates at clock in / clock out (point-in-time).
- Edit history and audit trail of timesheet changes.
Retention
Time records are retained for at least 4 years (read-only after cancellation) so employers can satisfy national record-keeping rules.
See /working-time-information for background on EU working-time rules.
